Inspiration

About This Club

Get some inspiration, feel in awe and connected to a powerful source of energy and become aware of new possibilities. Inspiration is likely to cause you to take some purposeful action and motivate you to create or do something new.
  1. What's new in this club
  2. I am trying to find some lessons, views, and different information when it comes to digital art. I can't afford to go back to school right now to pursue it so I have to rely on what I can find online. Does anyone know of any free online courses or just general lessons I can pull inspiration from so I can grow as an artist?
  3. I think there have been a number of times throughout my life I have but not since my younger years. I kind of know what I like and I am happy doing what I enjoy so I seldom try new things. Maybe this is a bad thing? I don't know. As long as I am happy, I think that is what is important.
  4. I think boredom inspires me in this sense. If I get stuck doing the same few things over and over again, I get bored and find myself getting tired and just stuck so I try something new to liven things up. Can be as simple as a new restaurant or cooking a new meal, or it can be going to a new place for a vacation.
  5. I have a co-worker who is always inspiring me to do more with my life. She is always on the move with things and she keeps everything in her life so organized. Anytime a problem comes up, she solves it with little to no help from anyone. She inspires me by just being who she is which is pretty amazing.
  6. When it comes to friends and acquaintances, do you have any peers who you would consider an inspiration to you? Maybe they helped with something, or helped you understand things in life. Out of your peers, who has inspired you the most?
  7. Inspiration is something that can be difficult to maintain than general motivation but they are very similar. I think finding your inspiration for something helps to power you through new growth which thereby also serves you as motivation. I know the pandemic has not made things easy but restrictions are letting up so maybe try being in new spaces or visiting new places. Go to a new park, or try some new food. You would be amazed by what little can inspire your creativity!
  8. One thing I found that has helped me in the past, is to try something new. If your life is blocked, try something new in your life. At least, within reason of course. Find something you've always wanted to do and do it. Go skydiving, get a ride in a race car, etc. It doesn't have to be big like anything I mentioned. It could be trying to learn to play an instrument, learn a new skill, read more, do things you normally don't. I think that could be helpful to inspiring someone.
  9. When I lose inspiration for my work, I often venture out into the local forest and just walk around, seeing the sites, the animals and not having to hear the sounds of cars and people everywhere. Get away from the world for a bit, and that could inspire anyone. Another thing I recommend, is to just relax, take a break, hang out with family and friends and just live a little. I'm sure you will find inspiration in some way.
  10. I am a writer and an artist and this last year or so, it has been hard. Because of COVID and the ongoing restrictions, I have not only felt trapped physically and mentally but also creatively. I have not worked on any new artwork in a few months now nor have I been able to focus on my writing. How can I get inspired again to get the creative juices flowing?
  11. A friend of mine has been drawing since she was a young child. She used to be very good at it but she took several years off in her late teens and only just got back into it a few years ago. Now that she is 27, she feels stuck and can't find inspiration to make anything. She bought herself a new drawing tablet which was not cheap and is beating herself up over spending that money now because she hasn't made a single thing with it yet. What is a good way or a good place to find inspiration for a struggling artist?
  12. I am always looking for inspiration and ideas for my writing. I think I spend a lot of time being stuck with ideas and never actually getting things out of my head. I would love to find that inspiration to keep going or to try to find something new out there that could work for me. When you are stuck in the motions of day-to-day life, what inspires you to do something new?
  13. Sure! I don't think it was intentional though. I guess I am similar to Casey where I became inspired through watching how her life turned around. She was in a bad place without a penny to her name just 5 years ago and now she is married and owns a house with a child on the way. A lot can change in 5 years!
  14. Have you ever been inspired to try something completely new to you? Either it be a new experience, meeting someone, or trying new food. I have been inspired fairly often to try new things when I hit a rut in my life. Usually trying something new helps me out quite a bit, as it gives me something fresh to do, instead of falling in line with doing the same stuff. What about you?
  15. Yes, I have had a few friends inspire me to change. I think it usually comes from a place of actually desiring to change myself and allowing my friends to help me or viewing the progress they have made in their own life as a direct source of inspiration to do better in my own life.
  16. Has a close friend ever inspired you to change? For me, a friend has helped me a lot. A close friend helped me get back into fitness. Helped me get to a healthier stage in my life. But what about you?
